Who provides the service
ParentBorn is a project operated by Andreea Dumitrescu. Contact contact@parentborn.com about the service and privacy@parentborn.com about personal data.
Who it is for
The service is intended for adults—parents, expectant parents and caregivers. Children do not create accounts. By registering, you confirm that you are at least 18 and able to enter this agreement.
Your account
Use an email address you control and keep your authentication method secure. You are responsible for activity through your account and should notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.
What we provide
An account may provide Academy materials, progress, preferences and ADDA. Features may evolve and differ between the web and future mobile applications. Published content is educational and is not medical, psychological or legal diagnosis, treatment or advice.
Safety
ADDA does not replace a professional and is not an emergency service. If a child or adult faces immediate danger, stop using the service and contact local emergency services or a qualified professional.
Fair use
Do not access another person’s account, bypass security, overload infrastructure, upload malicious code or use the service unlawfully. Avoid unnecessary information that directly identifies a child or personal data about others without an appropriate basis.
Content and ownership
The interface, texts, programme structure and ParentBorn materials are protected by applicable rights. You receive a personal, limited and non-transferable right to use them; systematic copying, resale or redistribution requires permission.
Availability
We take reasonable continuity and security measures, but the service may be interrupted for maintenance, incidents or technical changes. We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available or error-free.
Payments
Subscriptions and payments are not active in version 1.0. Before enabling them, we will publish pricing, billing, renewal, cancellation and consumer rights and request acceptance of updated terms.
Suspension and deletion
You may request account deletion from My data. We may restrict or suspend access when needed for security, abuse prevention or a breach of these terms, with an internal audit trail and a support channel for clarification.
Liability
The service is an educational tool. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions based solely on its content, and we do not exclude rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be limited, including consumer rights.
Law and updates
Romanian law applies together with mandatory EU protections. Material changes receive a new version and, where required, fresh acceptance. Disputes may be brought before competent courts or authorities under applicable law.
